I qualified in electronic engineering in the 70's. Became an electronics engineer and managed an electronic repair centre.
Joined Philips (Holland) as an engineer working in Cambridge (England), moved into product management then product marketing looking after specialised intercom systems, then large 256 channel call logging systems, then specialist radio paging systems.
Managed the UK On-Site Paging business in Cambridge.
Joined Bewator/Cotag (Cambridge), introduced a state of the art Time and Attendance system into the UK and the rest of Europe.
Managed the technical support department.
Joined MKC Computers Ltd and became the General Manager. Successfully produced and implemented a 5Yr business plan for a newly identified market sector supplying DSA(Disabled Student Allowance) government funded IT solutions. Managed to grow this sector to £3.5 Million turnover within 4Yrs.I am passionate about helping people with disabilities and really enjoyed this stage of my career progression.
In August 2014 I formed my own IT Consultancy company and now work with several companies across the world to assist with there sales and marketing throughout the UK and the rest of Europe.
